Washington 2006 - The International Jury

The Washington 2006 competitive exhibition jury is comprised of experienced judges from around the world. The judges are accrdited by the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (F.I.P.).

The jury is made up of a total of 42 judges from 22 countries. Roughly the F.I.P. requires one juror per 100 competitive frames. Washington 2006 will have 3,820 frames.

Also under F.I.P. rules, 25% of the jury is appointed by the host country, 50% by nomination of other countries through their national federations at the invitation of Washington 2006, and 25% selected directly by the F.I.P., which also gives formal approval to the entire group.
